Life of Charles Peace, The (British early film, 735 ft) |
- (1905). One of the longest films in Britain of the early 1900s. Charles Peace was a ntororious murderer, and this film follows his career form the 'killing of Mr. Dyson to his execution in 1879. The Banner Cross crime and Peace's famous leap from the train after his arrest were filmed 'on the exact spots.'' Directed by William Haggar, with four Haggar brothers and two Haggar sisters acting in the piece.
