The Delicious Death Society was inspired by a scene from Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced. The excitable foreign refugee cook for the Blacklock household makes a fantastic chocolate cake (despite the fact that after-wartime rationing makes it difficult to get ingredients.) A member of the Blacklock household likes it so much that he calls it Delicious Death.
So it is with the Delicious Death Society. It's "worth dying" to read a fantastic crime or mystery novel, view a masterpiece of a movie, play a game, see a play, and so on. This website is still under construction.
