The Thunder Child Photo Essays: Superman: The Musical
Photo essay and info by Edogawa Ranpo

The beginning of Chapter 6.

Clark and Sydney come up for air, briefly. "Gee, Sydney, all of a sudden, I'm happy," says Clark.

All this time Max has been repeating Sedgwick's words that Superman will destroy himself. Finally Max asks, "How." "I thought you'd never ask."
Sedgwick explains his plan. The next day the University is to honor Superman. Something disasterous must happen elsewhere, to make a laughing stock of him.

"Together we'll rule the world! But Sweden's mine!

Max and Sedgwick reprise "You've got possibilities."

This is a long production number.

The gangsters burst in. "Have you got an appointment?" demands Sedgwick.

The gangsters agree to work with Sedgwick to destroy Superman.

Back at the Daily Planet, Clark is kissing...Lois Lane.
