"Oh, Clark, have you been there all along?" This is Lois' usual refrain, but she says it in a different tone of voice this time. It was Sydney who gave Clark the confidence to go after Lois. Sydney is quite happy that she's brought the two love birds together. Perry White fires "Jimmy Olson," and calls Clark into his office. While Clark is off-stage, Lois dreams of being married to him. She ballet dances through her kitchen. White orders Kent to cover the story of Superman being honored at MIT the next day. Kent starts coughing, tells Lois he has a cold and that she must do it, and runs off. Professor Sedgwick has been explaining hs plan to his henchmen.
