Stephanie Eve Boone is originally from Ona, West Virginia. She earned her MFA in Nonfiction from the University of Arizona in 2007. She has published essays and reviews in such publications as Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built and Natural Environment, Edifice Wrecked: A Literary Journal, Sonora Review, and the anthology Hiram, USA. She has experienced recurring addictions to Buffy the Vampire the Slayer, Angel, and Battlestar Galactica. She teaches at Niagara University in western New York, and recently showed the Buffy episode "Hush" during a unit on the importance of language. She is still trying to think of a good reason to show episodes of Battlestar Galactica.
