Terao - the Restaurant When sumo wrestlers retire, they usually do one of two things. They open up a chanko restaurant (chanko is the daily meal a sumotori eats - a stew filled with everything but the kitchen sink),or they stay in sumo as an oyakata, or coach. The Terao restaurant has been in operation for many years, run by Terao's older brother - the one who didn't make it in sumo. Reception room.
