  • Clive had been touring in his adaption of Graham Greene's Our Man in Havana. He sent me a photo of himself in drag, and some information on its future in the West End.

  • Found a video of Clive in Oedipus at Colonus at Youtube, and have loaded it on the Oedipus at Colonus page. He's only on screen for a couple of minutes. Oedipus at Colonus.

  • Added plot details to the stage section for The Servant of Two Masterse, Importance of Being Ernest, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Loot, The Tempest, and Irma La Douce.

  • Added a Francis credit to the Radio page. He played Bamborough in "Perucci's Escapement," an Elizabethan comedy-drama which starred Kenneth Cranham and Frank Finlay, broadcast on BBC3 at 9.10 pm on Tuesday, Mar 10, 1992!

  • Added a new section to the Navigation Bar, called "What's On Now" and placed the touring dates for Hound of the Baskervilles there. Clive adapted the play, but does not act in it.

    Also added a link to a site which is selling a special, limited edition Clive Francis print, called Star Power.

  • Added a new section called "The Events File", which features a photo of Clive and his son Harry, posing with Lynn Redgrave and Christopher Plummer, for an awards ceremony

  • Added a photo of Clive as Romeo in RADA's TV production of Romeo and Juliet (1966) to the TV page.

  • Re-did the index page in preparation for the new year, substituting the Hound of the Baskervilles promo video for the Christmas Carol promo video. Also changed the photos in the Navigation bar to more adequately represent the topic.

    Added a photo of Clive as Mr. Pickwick to the Radio page.

    I've got several more photos to put on the appropriate pages, but this won't be done for another week or so.

  • The TV page is practically finished. A few more things to add.

    What has been added are videos! 2-3 minute promos for Clive's one man show A Christmas Carol and his play The Hound of the Baskervilles.

  • The Rear Column has been added to the Theatre page, and various info for other plays added. The theatre page is now complete.

  • Two new plays have been added to the Theatre page, Three Hours After Marriage and Monsieur Perrichon's Travels. The theatre page is now substantially complete.

  • TV section still being worked on. Note: The Clive Francis radio section won't be undergoing the total info explosion that the other pages have, unfortunately, as Clive didn't keep records of these. However, I shall persevere in my endeavor to document this part of his career!

  • Brief credits have been added to the films page (director, producer, screenwriter), and actor's identified on a couple of the Stills pages (Villain, Inspector Clouseau. One movie added, The Last Hangman, 2005.
  • In the Theatre files, one still each has been added for There's A Girl in My Soup and The Servant of Two Masters.
