It carried three satellites for NASA. It exploded shortly after liftoff. The news was reported in the Sunday papers: Launch of Private Rocket Fails; Three Satellites Were Onboard.

    Sunday, August 3, 2008: The New York Times reports on an incident that happened a couple of weeks ago - swarms of jellyfish shutting down a beach on barcelona. Stinging Tentacles Offer Hint of Oceans’ Decline. "The explosion of jellyfish populations, scientists say, reflects a combination of severe overfishing of natural predators, like tuna, sharks and swordfish; rising sea temperatures caused in part by global warming; and pollution that has depleted oxygen levels in coastal shallows.
