Japan and Japanese Baseball

UNDER CONSTRUCTION:

The purpose of this page is to provide information about Japan, Japanese culture, and Japanese baseball. Much of the information here will be culled from other sites on the web. I will provide links to all of these source sites.

In searching the web, I have found the ideal site for students of Japanese baseball from its history to the current day (although 1997 appears to be the most current of 'current days'....) Check out Jim Allen's Japanese Baseball Page.

(I'll be putting a summary of baseball history etc. here shortly).

There are twelve teams in Japanese baseball.
