Willy Ley
Willy Ley was born on October 2, 1906 in Berlin, Germany and died on May 24, 1969.
A founding member of Germany's Rocket Society, he left Germany when Adolf Hitler came to power. He wrote scientific essays and was science advisor on the Tom Corbett, Space Cadet TV and book series. He also wrote several books about the history of space exploration. |
