Although Asimov's exact birthdate is not known, it is generally believed to be January 2, in Petrovichi, Russia. He died on April 6, 1992, of AIDS (contracted due to a contaminated blood transfusion during a heart operation) in New York
"The Good Doctor" as he was known was a prolific writer, beginning with science fiction stories during the golden age of the pulps, and then expanding into novels. For a while he dedicated himself to writing science non-fiction books, but returned to his creations, the Robot series and the Foundation series, late in life.

Osa was born on January 13, 1914, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and died on January 2, 2006, in Santa Monica, California, from complications following surgery.
Osa Massen had only a couple of science fiction credits, but she was in the forefront of the 50s science fiction movies, starring opposite Lloyd Bridges in Rocketship X-M (1950).
On TV, she played Julie Bondar in "The Unexplored" episode of Science Fiction Theatre (1955). (She can also be seen in three episodes of Raymond Burr's Perry Mason.

Woodnutt was born on March 3, 1924 in London, England and died on January 2, 2006, in Denville Hall, Northwood, England.
He appeared as the Duke of Forgill/Broton in the Tom Baker Doctor Who episode,"Terror of the Zygons" (1975) and as Consul Seron in "Keeper of Traken" (1981). He also played Merlin in Knightmare (a gameshow), (1990).
