Blanc was born on May 30, 1908, in San Francisco, California, and died on July 10, 1989 in Los Angeles, California of heart disease.

A "voice artist," he created Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck amid a host of other creations. He belongs in the Thunder Child Book of Days because his work on Duck Dodgers in the 25th And A Half Century, Mr. Spacely in The Jetsons and so on.
