Nicholas Courtney
Nicholas was born on December 16, 1929 in Cairo, Egypt.
Born in Egypt to a British diplomat, Nicholas has had a long acting career, but is perhaps most famous as Brigadier-General Lethbridge-Stewart in Doctor Who. He first appeared in the role opposite the Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, and was a regular with the Jon Pertwee series and the first year of the Tom Baker series. The only Doctor he never appeared with (until its recent reincarnation with Eccleston and Tennant) was in Colin Baker's abbreviated tenure. |
