Chapter One
Chapter One: Tomorrow's World, introduces us to Buck Rogers and Buddy Wade, aviators who are trying to set a distance record with their dirigible. A scientist has equipped the dirigible with gas tanks that can put people into suspended animation. The dirigible does indeed crash, and it's buried in snow and ice for a thousand years.
Subsequent chapters do not have title cards, but rather have long blocks of text, scrolling upwards, explaining what has gone on before, superimposed over shots of space ships battling each other.
